• Reported directly to the COO; managed virtual assistants and employees across departments, with responsibility for hiring, planning, expense reporting, one-on-ones, and executive reporting.
• Hired VAs and built, trained, and grew a separate junior SEO team for each site, covering publishing, keyword research, on-site, off-site, and technical SEO, CRO, and monetization.
• Expanded from managing one site to four (Total Shape, Carnivore Style, Diggity Marketing, GroomsDay), coordinating technical, editorial and monetization work and moving from directing article-writing VAs to owning client relationships and monthly reporting.
• Authored new SOPs and improved existing ones for content writing, optimization, and publishing; ran QA, delegation, coaching and KPI reviews against documented quality standards.
• Managed the Total Shape team through its Helpful Content Update response, in which the team updated 1,292 pages, including all commercial money pages.
• Project manager for Total Shape when team reporting showed traffic up 11.4% from July to August 2023 (253,400 to 282,270 visitors).
• Coordinated an E-E-A-T overhaul (schema, author profiles, medical reviewer, trust pages) and a branded-search effort; meeting notes report branded searches rising from under 100 a day to several hundred.
• Built an AI-assisted news-article process for the content team.
